It’s a well-known fact in the beauty industry that eyebrows set the stage. They frame bone
structure, make eyes pop, and can add personality to a face. Microshading is a technique done using
either an electric hand tool or a manual tool. Microshading creates a soft, powdered effect that
resembles makeup/powder. Instead of the hair stroke effect achieved with microblading, microshading
uses a stippling method, which involves repetitive dotting of the pigment into the skin. Just like
microblading, microshading will last anywhere from one to three years depending on genetics, care, and
lifestyle.
Lovelle Beauty Academy is proud to offer the Microshading Artist Certification to our students.
Under the direction of our experienced Instructors, you will learn the fundamental theory and
techniques to become a certified Microshading Technician. Our two day Microshading course is designed
to familiarize our students with extensive knowledge on Microshadiing techniques and application,
after-care, pricing strategies as well as guidelines on how to build your brand and grow your business
through social media marketing.
Students will practice on skin simulation on the first day of the course and work on two live
models with Instructor supervision on the second day. We review health and safety and best business
practices, including walking our students through legalities and obtaining their Bloodborne Pathogens
certification. We know that perfecting your skill is just the beginning. Being a manual skill,
microshading requires a certain amount of time spent practicing. We are here for our students every
step of the way and allow students to join in on 1 additional class in order to practice on two models
with Instructor supervision free of charge, if requested. Terms and conditions apply.
All students must complete a practical evaluation before receiving their Microshading Artist
Certification and complete all prerequisites before enrolling to join a secondary complimentary
class.
